Shooting Script

Shooting script 

1) Extreme close up – Of a clock striking 12, showing it’s the start of the year 2000.
2) High angle shot – showing shuffling feet walking towards a dark alley.
3) Low key long shot of Susie walking into a subway.
4) High angle shot/crab shot of a body on the floor, with a blood pool.
5) Eye line match, of Susie looking at the blood pool.
6) Shot reverse shot showing shock and confusion between the victim and Susie.
7) High angle shot, showing Susie lean forward and putting her hand on evidence.
8) Close up shot of evidence.
9) Two shot/mid shot of Susie telling her family of her day at work.
10) Extreme close up of a shocked expression on Susie’s mum’s face.
11) Close up of Susie’s mum having dialogue – ‘I don’t believe this, its too familiar.’
12) Extreme close up of two newspapers being thrown doing on a coffee table, with dates and graphic images.
13) Close up/spinning dolly shot, getting the focus onto the headline title,
14) Camera zoom, which zooms into dates.
15) Mid shot – searching through boxes.
16) Extreme close up/long pauses – of a pocket watch.
17) Close up – of pocket watch being turned over in characters hand.
18) Close up of Susie’s mum working the machine.
19) Extreme close up of clock ticking backwards.
20) Dolly shot/camera spinning – to represent time travel.

28) Two shot of Suzie being held up against a wall being threatened.

40) Close up/fading out shot of the picture, of Suzie trying to get home but the pocket watch not working.

  1. Excellent planning; don't forget Title and credits- include graphic shots. Target: eyeline match order = character looks, ~THEN - the object etc seen
